1. Camera Position#

The starting point is Blender’s orthographic camera object. Our two properties of interest are the projection rays and their angle with the camera.

1.1. Altitude and Rotation#

In conventional 3D modeling tools, the camera is an object which can be placed somewhere in 3D space in order to chose a view from which to capture a view of the 3D scene. To manipulate such a camera one can chose to define its position with an altitude and rotation value. The present example shows a camera with an altitude value of 30° and a rotation value of 45°.
